From President:
I am very pleased that the ODCC is entering our 23rd year of league activity and operation. The curling season starts on September 28th with one new team expanded over 2001 and 2002. Welcome new curlers to our ODCC and I am sure that you will enjoy the deaf curling league. I want to thank the curling board for their works so hard except new etiquette and new schedule. Please join me
in congratulating the three teams who competed at 24th Canadian Deaf
Curling Championship, Halifax, Nova Scotia on April 14 to April 20th,
2002. To Andre Guillemette's men rink, you had done very well and shown your good sportmanship. I am sure you both will meet the better success in Richmond, B.C. next year. Congratulations to Nancy Rousseau who received the second year for the Female Sportmanship Award. Theresa Ullett, President, O.D.C.C. |
