Team Canada brought home two medals in curling: silver for men and bronze for women. It had been a great ride for both teams with rich experience at Russia with different language and culture. China's performance showed lots of improvement since 2007, including with other countries, and China capitalized Canada 7-6 in final game for men. Canada women team hammed Croatia in bronze game 10 - 5.

Ottawa native curler as alternate represented Canada at Khanty-Mansiysk collected new experience with pride to wear silver medal and would share the story to Ottawa Deaf community as well as Winnipeg's foursome would do.

Clifford Beaulieu 1972-2015

CDSA has sadly announced the passing of Clifford Beaulieu, skip of Canada team in curling for 18th Winter Deaflympic. He would be sincerely remembered through his life and his competition during CDCC and NDCT.
